Kochi: An exhibition of sculptures crafted by tribal artisans will be held at the Durbar Hall Art Centre here from May 16 to 21. It is being organised by the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi. At a press conference, C.N. Karunakaran and Sathyapal, chairman and secretary respectively of the Akademy, said that the tribals had made the sculptures at the workshops organised in Kochi and Kozhikode, using their traditional casting technology. As many as 100 sculptures would be displayed at the exhibition. Ernakulam District Collector M. Beena will inaugurate the workshop on Thursday. — Special Correspondent
