Alappuzha
ALAPPUZHA: A couple was killed on the National Highway-47 at Thottapally near Ambalapuzha here on Thursday when their two-wheeler rammed into a State Road Transport Corporation bus that had stopped on the road for passengers. The deceased were identified as Santosh, 37, and his wife Mini, 34, of Polaparambil House, Pallana. The accident occurred around 3.30 p.m. when Santosh and Mini were on their way home after purchasing textbooks for their 11-year-old son Sandeep and six-year-old daughter Athira. The bodies were shifted to the Alappuzha Medical College Hospital.
