Delhi Mahila Congress to stage dharna

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Pradesh Mahila Congress will stage a dharna in Chandni Chowk here on Friday in protest against “failure” of the Bharatiya Janata Party to fulfil its pre-municipal polls promise of stopping the sealing and demolition drive in Delhi.

Senior Congress leaders such as Member of Parliament Sajjan Kumar and All-India Mahila Congress president Prabha Thakur are expected to take part in the dharna.
