MCD employee suspended

NEW DELHI: A Municipal Corporation of Delhi employee of the Sadar Paharganj Zone was suspended on Thursday for allegedly drinking on the job.

According to an official release, an inspection by the Vigilance Department revealed that Assistant Public Relations Officer Dharamraj Kardam was in office in a drunken state. A medical examination at Hindu Rao Hospital confirmed consumption of liquor following which he was suspended pending disciplinary proceedings.
