Doctors transferred

Thiruvananthapuram: The government has issued orders transferring out 16 doctors in the district, including six civil Surgeons and 10 assistant surgeons, to Kannur and Kasaragod districts with immediate effect, as part of the disciplinary measures against the doctors who responded to the strike call.

They have been asked to take charge in their new place of posting before May 19 or face further disciplinary action.
