dated May 16, 1958: Praise for Indian films

Two Indian films were enthusiastically received at the International Cultural and Documentary Film Festival in Mannheim (West Germany) on May 14. They are “Aparajito”, story of a Calcutta student, written and directed by Satyajit Ray and “Drum, Sword and Dance in Malabar”, directed by Paul Zils, depicting Malabar traditions.
