Showroom for bronze items

KOCHI: Traditional bronze craft items such as lamps, bell, ‘kindi,’ ‘uruli,’ ‘varpu’ and ‘changalavatta’ will be available at the new showroom of PRM Lakshamana Iyer Associates, on MG Road, Kochi. The Group, which has been in the bronze craft business for over a century, has a manufacturing facility at Mannar in Alappuzha district, according to R.Venkitachalam, partner of the group. The group had entered the Limca Book of Records for making the 24-feet tall ‘deepasthambham,’ weighing 6,500 kg, at Koothattukulam Town church. The 7-feet tall bell installed in Simla, 10-feet diameter bronze varpu at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, 1,000-wick ‘Aluvilakku’ at the Devi temple at Chettikulangara in Alappuzha district, are among the famous projects completed by the group. — Staff Reporter

KOCHI: Ozone Ayurvedics, a part of the Ozone Group, has launched new beauty care products. These products have been developed using the knowledge of Ayurveda and modern pharmacological research, according to the company. The products in the Nomarks brand category include anti-acne and anti-blemish creams, face creams, face wash, zapper and soaps. Nomarks Scrub soap, elbow cream, face wash gel and face packs in the dry and wet categories are among the other products of the company. — Staff Reporter
