Strong team to represent Karnataka

Bangalore: Karnataka will have a strong representation when the eight and nine Ball Pool National Championship organised by the West Bengal Billiards Association from May 16 to 26 gets underway at the Spring Club in Kolkata.

The top four of the State ranking tournament held at the KSBA will spearhead the challenge.

M. Chitra, the reigning women’s nine ball pool champion and a former 8 ball champion will figure in both the events along with Indira Gowda and Bhanumathi Mendon.

The teams: 8 Ball pool: D. Raj Kumar, Amit Bhushan, Mundir Sherazi and Balaji Reddy.

9 Ball Pool: Vinay Katrela, D. Raj Kumar, Sajan Bopanna and Prithvi Prasad. — Special Correspondent
