Transferred staff join duty

BERHAMPUR: Ninety-five per cent of the transferred clerks and revenue officials have joined duty at their new places in Kandhamal district. The district administration had transferred 188 clerks and revenue officials at one go on May 11. It was opposed by the association of these employees. On May 12 they even resorted to cease work. But the administration remained strong in its decision and relieved the transferred employees from their previous place of work. Officials said most of them had joined duty by Wednesday evening.
