Hooda challenges Chautala

Special Correspondent

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday described former Chief Minister Om Parkash Chautala as a big liar and threw him an open challenge to disclose how much funds he had got released for the development of Gohana assembly constituency during his six-year-long tenure. Addressing election meetings in several villages of Gohana constituency in favour of the Congress candidate from Gohana for the upcoming Haryana Assembly by-election on May 22, Jagbir Malik, Mr. Hooda said his government had pumped in crores for the development of Gohana even though the elected Congress MLA, Dharampal Singh Malik, had never cooperated and had subsequently defected to the Haryana Janhit Congress.

He also lashed out at Bhajan Lal for “misleading the masses”.
