70-year-old man murdered

NEW DELHI: A 70-year-old retired Air India employee was found dead with his throat slit in his house at Janakpuri here on Thursday. Over Rs.1 lakh in cash and some valuables were missing from the house. The gruesome murder came to light when Raksha Sharma returned home around 3 p.m. and found her husband B. D. Sharma lying in a pool of blood. “Ms. Sharma had gone out in the morning. On returning home, she found the front door of the house ajar and the body lying in a room, ” said a senior cop.
