Award for KWA

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) has won the National Urban Water Award for 2008 instituted by the Union Ministry of Urban Development, Administrative College of India and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

A press note issued by the office of the Water Resources Minister here on Friday said the KWA was chosen for the award by a panel headed by A. K. Mehta, joint secretary, Union Urban Development Ministry.
