Muzaffarnagar: Three persons travelling on a motorcycle were allegedly run over by a police vehicle on Delhi-Yamnotri highway in Saharanpur district. The incident occurred when Nazim (22), Ahmad (23) and Wasim (18) were returning home on a motorcycle after attending a marriage. Their two-wheeler was hit head-on by a police jeep near Kalsia village on Thursday, police said. Senior police officials rushed to the spot and pacified enraged villagers who demanded that the driver be handed over to them. A case has been registered against the driver, he added.
