GULBARGA: Four persons died on the spot and 12 were injured in a collision between a lorry and a jeep at Bankur Cross near Shahabad in Chitapur taluk on Thursday.The victims were travelling in the jeep. Two of them have been identified as jeep driver Raghavendra Malagathi (28) and Deepak Ratlal Oza (22) of Shahabad. The identity of two women victims aged around 21 and 38 is not known. The police said that the jeep was proceeding towards Gulbarga from Shahabad when the accident took place. The injured were admitted in government hospitals in Shahabad and Gulbarga, they added. — Special Correspondent
