BANGALORE: The Congress on Friday, if voted to power, reiterated its resolve to implement the package announced by the Dharam Singh Government for developing naxal-affected areas in the State. The former MLCs, K.H. Srinivasa and L. Hanumanthaiah said that they were not aware of the money spent so far in implementing the package in three years. Mr. Srinivasa said the law enacted by the Centre on giving rights over forest produce to tribal people would take time to yield results and the naxalites were taking advantage of this situation.
