Leopard cub to be shifted to zoo

BERHAMPUR: A three-week old leopard cub rescued from Danganam jungles of Phiringia forest range in Kandhamal district would be sent to Nandankanan Zoological Park for its upbringing. Initially the forest officials had decided to release this cub in the jungle after a few days. But it was felt that it would be hard for the cub to search for its mother and there was every chance that it may die after getting released in the jungle. So, the Phulbani DFO decided to send the cub to Nandankanan zoological park near Bhubaneswar.
