Two persons were killed after the bicycle on which they were travelling was run over by an unidentified vehicle at Pet Basheerabad on Friday morning.

Police said Surya Kanthi Balaiah, 50, and Sailu, 30, both residents of Dulapally village, were going to their work place when the accident occurred. The victims were working as sweepers.

In another incident, a 52-year-old man was killed after the scooter he was riding, was hit by a lorry at Kushaiguda on Thursday night. He has been identified as M. Dattatreya Sharma, of Kakatiyanagar.
