Poongothai criticises Jayalalithaa

CHENNAI: Social Welfare Minister Poongothai Aladi Aruna, who has tendered her resignation, has said that former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa had no locus standi to voice her opinion on the issue.

Dr. Poongothai said she had submitted her resignation so that her leader, Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, would not be put to any difficulty.
