New advocate for Jayalalithaa

BANGALORE: The Special Court in Bangalore, which is hearing the disproportionate assets case against former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and four others — Sasikalaa Natarajan, J. Illavarsi, V.N. Sudhagaran and T.T.V. Dinakaran — permitted N. Jyothi, advocate for Jayalalithaa, to withdraw from the case. Three new advocates have filed vakalat. While Navaneetha Krishnan has filed vakalat on behalf of Ms. Jayalalithaa, Venkateshan will be appearing for Ms. Sasikalaa and Kandaswamy for Ms. Illavarasi. — Staff Reporter
