PTR College Of Engineering

The Sasikala (Memorial) Educational Trust, was established in the year 1984 by Lion R. Pandiyan in memory of his departed daughter Sasikala, to promote technical education in this part of tamilnadu. In the first phase Thanapandiyan Polytechnic College was started in the year 1985. In 2001 P.T.R. College of Engineering & Technology was started. Headed by a Senior Professor who has served more than 24 years in Technical Education, and the college has qualified and experienced faculties in all branches of study. Hostel is located within the college campus and a separate hostel for ladies at Tirunagar is also available. Placement of the students were well taken care of by the placement cell of the college.
