NEW DELHI: Japan’s CBC Corporation, world’s leading player in surveillance equipment and imaging technology market, particularly CCTV (close circuit television) cameras, has launched its operations in India by launching its wholly-owned subsidiary, CBC Corporation Indian Pvt. Ltd. “With fast growing economy and corporate sector, we see substantial business growth in India. At present, the Indian hi-tech security market is worth over $100 million and is growing fast. Though our products are being used in India for the past 26 years, we decided to open office here to consolidate our business. In the next three years, we want to capture 10-15 per cent market share in India. We are also considering setting up a factory in India for manufacturing cameras soon,” CBC Corporation India’s Managing Director, Tomizo Nishikawa, told The Hindu. CBC Corporation will be selling its latest ‘Computar’ brand CCTV lens and also ‘Ganz’ brand CCTV cameras in India. “We offer one-stop shopping for all security system needs by supplying all the major equipment necessary for a complete solution including access control systems and sensors,” said Mr. Nishikawa.
