Southern Rly. in final

KOLLAM: Southern Railway, Chennai will meet SAI, Secundarabad in the final of the TKM Champion Trophy hockey tournament at the FMNC Hockey stadium.

In the semifinals, Southern Railway blanked SAI, Bangalore 4-1. Divakaran (14th), Maheshwaran (31st), Arumugham (34th) and Dickson (49th) scored the goals for the winner while T.B. Ponnanna reduced the margin for the loser in the 60th minute.

SAI, Secundarabad defeated SAI, Chennai by a solitary goal. Sandeep Liju scored the match-winner in the 53rd minute. — Principal Correspondent
