Armaan Ebrahim. CHENNAI: Team Tara DTM’s Armaan Ebrahim celebrated his 19th birthday with a first round win in the Formula Renault V6 race in Sepang, Malaysia on Saturday. According to reports reaching here, Armaan was the quickest in all the seven test sessions but had problems in qualifying. He could only manage a third place on the grid with a time of 59.8 seconds. In the main race, Armaan went on to win with a nine-second lead over Earl Bamber of New Zealand. James Grunwell came third. “It’s great to win the opening race,” Armaan said on his success. Armaan thanked his sponsors J K Tyres, Amaraon, Speed and Elf for all the support.
