Man held for selling fake certificates

BANGALORE: The Ashok Nagar police have arrested a man on charges of selling fake degree and postgraduate degree certificates to people. The accused has been identified as Imran Nadir (36).

According to the police, Nadir, a resident of Kallahalli Layout, charged between Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 10,000 for a fake degree certificate. According to DCP (Central) B.N.S. Reddy, Nadir targeted foreign students, especially those from Iran, who had not completed their courses.
