31 candidates trained by IAS coaching centre qualified

CHENNAI: Thirty-one candidates trained by the State government’s All India Civil Services Coaching Centre have qualified in the Civil Services Examinations, 2007.

An official release issued on Saturday stated that 18 persons belonged to the Backward Classes and six each belonged to the Most Backward Classes and the Scheduled Castes.

Ten of the successful candidates had taken Tamil literature as a subject.
