Subramanian scalps five

CHENNAI: Subramanian (five for 18) starred in iSoft’s two-wicket win over Ashok Leyland (Ennore) in the SSI-YSCA Trophy cricket tournament here on Saturday.

The scores:

Accenture 79 in 21 overs (R. Selvam four for 23) lost to YSCA XI 83 for no loss in 5.3 overs (K. Balamurali 46 not out).

Ashok Leyland (Ennore) 143 for nine 30 overs (Subramanian five for 18) lost to iSOFT 147 for eight in 24.5 overs (V. Stalin 64 not out).

Spinz deo Cup

Spinz deo (a product of CavinKare) Cup under-15 cricket tournament will be held at Cantonment School ground, Pallavaram from May 19. MCC HSS, Gee Ge CA, St. John’s ES&JC are taking part in the tournament.

All the matches will be played on a 30-over basis. The final will be a two-day affair.

KTC junior tennis

The Krishnan Tennis Centre will conduct the UCAL junior tennis tournament, a State-ranking singles event for under-12 boys and girls, from June 2 to 7.
