BDA to hold grievances meetings regularly

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) Commissioner H. Siddaiah said on Saturday that public grievance meetings would be held regularly to make the functioning of the authority more proactive.

Speaking to presspersons at a public grievance meeting at Koramangala, Mr. Siddaiah said that such meetings would provide a forum for interaction. “This way the BDA is trying to move to the doorsteps of citizens,” he added.

Besides addressing issues and coming up with solutions to improve the Koramangala BDA complex, the commissioner ordered that steps be taken to repair toilets, improve water supply, and landscape the park. The commissioner received complaints about encroachment of BDA area and he said that action would be taken.

Recovered

The BDA on Saturday recovered property worth about Rs. 75 lakh at HBR Layout 3rd Block.
