SANKAGIRI: Two persons were killed and eight others including three children sustained injuries in a collision involving a container truck and a car here on Sunday. Police said Lalithkumar (38) of Bellari and his family members were travelling in the car, when the vehicle dashed against the truck. His wife Meena (35) and car driver Jeyakumar died on the spot. Lalithkumar and seven of his family members sustained serious injuries and were admitted to a private hospital in Erode. Sankagiri police registered a case.
