Three arrested

SIRSI: Sirsi police arrested Raju Govind Naik, Pandu Govind Naik and Savita Pandu Naik in connection with the death of Yashoda Naik (28) of Kasturba Nagar here, on Saturday.

The police said that Raju had married Yashoda in 2005. He, along with his brother Pandu and sisiter-in-law Savita, allegedly used to harass Yashoda for want of more dowry. Yashoda was forced by them to swallow poison six days ago, the police said. She died in a hospital on Saturday.

A case has been registered. — Correspondent
