Onyx tech launches three portals

25 per cent of the profit will be spent for the cause of differently-abled

VISAKHAPATNAM: City-based software firm Onyx Technologies launched three portals here on Sunday evening amidst glamour and glitz. The three portals www.marketyard.info, www.travellersport.com and www.lifepartnersworld.com were launched by the Mayor of Greater Visakha Municipal Corporation, P. Janaradhana Rao.

The CEO of the company Kalyan Chakravarthy said that each portal caters to different requirements of the people.

“Marketyard deals with real estate information and contains info on both commercial and residential requirements at national and international level. Similarly travellersport deals with tours and travel details and the third is a matrimonial service provider,” he said.

The vice-president of Onyx informed that 25 per cent of the profit generated from the portals would be spent for the cause of the differently-abled.

The firm is also into the business of web designing, software development, recruitments and BPO service provider.

“We have the right combination of creative and technical expertise to provide a full spectrum of web development and can cater to customise web programming. Providing high quality and cost-effective solutions is our hallmark,” said Mr. Chakravarthy.

The launch was followed with a sizzling fashion show where models from Kolkata sashayed the ramp displaying the various products of the company. A dance troupe from Kolkata, Masti Makers, performed to a few latest Bollywood hits like ‘Dard-e-disco’ from the film ‘Om Shanti Om’. Local talent, Abid Ali, also enlivened the crowd by belting a couple of hits on the track. The show was organised by Ajay Agarwal of Creative Plus.

The Deputy Mayor of GVMC, K. Dora Babu, Director General of Prema Hospital S.V. Adinarayana Rao, former Director of Medical Education R. Sashiprabha, and former Chairman of AP Technology Services, Koyya Prasada Reddy were also present at the inauguration.
