TTD centre coming up in Madurai

MADURAI: An information and reservation centre of the Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), where devotees can book e-darshan tickets and accommodation three to 60 days in advance, is going to be opened here on June 16.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Sri Mookambiga Educational Trust’s secretary, P. Veeraraghavan, said that the centre would have biometric facility, in which those buying tickets would register their fingerprint.

Initially, Rs.50 and Rs.200 tickets would be provided. In the near future, special seva tickets would also be issued.

It would be open between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on week days and on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. It would would be open on all days, including festivals and Government holidays, except Tuesdays.
