Thrissur: A passenger on a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation bus suffered head injuries after he was allegedly assaulted by the conductor of the bus on Saturday. Kallayi Biju, who was admitted in a hospital here, complained to the police that the conductor assaulted him when he asked for the balance after paying for his ticket. He was travelling on a bus operating between Mala and Thrissur when the incident occurred. The conductor fled the scene. — Staff Reporter
