Magistrate suspended

AHMEDABAD: A first class judicial magistrate in Surat has been suspended for alleged corruption and misconduct.

The suspension order was served on Mr A. N. Vizoda by the Gujarat High Court after he was issued a transfer order to Bagasara in Amreli district. The order said the action was being taken for “grave misconduct and conduct unbecoming of a judicial officer.”
