Music contest

BANGALORE: All India Radio, Bangalore, will organise a music competition.

The preliminary competition will be held at various stations of All India Radio and the finals at Delhi and Chennai for Hindustani and Carnatic music respectively.

Interested participants should send a money order for Rs. 100 to the Station Director of the respective stations. The competition is open to the candidates aged between 16 and 24 as on 29 June 2008.

The preliminary competitions will be held from August 11, 2008.

The last date for receipt of entries in the prescribed form is June 13. For details, contact the respective All India Radio stations.
