Andhra Pradesh
Majority of the residents of Shalivahana Enclave at Yellareddyguda in Kapra are either Central or State government employees. Therefore, priority has been given for BSNL landline connections in spite of various other competitive offers. In the absence of poles/wires in our colony we are deprived of landline connections. I request the authorities concerned to do the needful. V.C. Ravi, Kapra Extend metro lineThe metro railway line from Miyapur to L.B. Nagar should be extended 8 km up to Hayathnagar, so that colonies such as NGO’s Colony, High Court Colony, BN Reddy Colony and those around Vanasthalipuram will benefit besides those of the rural areas beyond Hayathnagar. The proposed metro railway terminus at L.B. Nagar would become more congested as the surrounding areas are fully developed. If the facility is extended up to Hayathnagar, authorities can acquire open lands and a spacious metro railway terminus along with depot and link bus complex can be provided. M. Ramachandra Rao, Hayathnagar Steps to check violationsCDS-2007 puts the total responsibility on the flat owners to verify the deviations. About 99 per cent of the apartment complexes in the State are not built as per sanctioned plans, thanks to the builders and officials. To check this violation in future, the authorities should continue issuing notices, start demolishing illegal structures mercilessly built after December 15, 2007 as per High Courts direction. Demolish shops built in cellar/stilt areas as these areas are meant for parking. At least from now onwards the authorities should withhold the security deposit of Rs.50,000 to Rs.1,00,000 deposited by each builder in the beginning of the venture, which is refundable only after issuing a “fit for occupancy” certificate by the officials. S.R.Patri, Sainathpuram New bus serviceThis is with reference to news item titled “Commuting to city fringes difficult” published in dated April 24. Mansoorabad area colonies situated on either side of Kamineni Hospital – Sushma Theatre via Sahara states road have limited bus facility. Keeping in view of this, I am requesting APSRTC officials to kindly introduce one new bus service between South End Park and Mehdipatnam via Mansoorabad, Sriramnagar, Sahara States, Chitra Seema Colony, Sushma Theatre, Panama Godown, L.B.Nagar, Dilsukhnagar. K. Lokanatham, Mansoorabad
