Tree-fall hits traffic

BANGALORE: A tree fell on a car and partially damaged another soon after it was hit by a lorry on Banashankari 24th Cross Road on Saturday. The traffic was affected for nearly an hour.
According to the police, a lorry hit the tree and a branch fell on the car belonging a Life Insurance Company officer Satish. He had parked the vehicle near the tree and had gone with his family to make purchases at a nearby shop.
The tree branch fell just before Satish and his family members could board the car. A branch fell on the windshield of another car that was moving on the road.
