Farmer killed

VILLUPURAM: Following a dispute over the right of path, three persons allegedly killed V.Perumal (65), a farmer, at Rettanai near here on Monday. The police said both Perumal and P.Mannangatti were having adjacent lands divided by a public path. However, on Monday, Perumal blocked the way by putting up thorny shrubs to which Mannangatti’s son M.Madhavan opposed. After a while Madhavan came along with his father and brother and attacked Perumal. He died on the spot. The police have secured all the three.
