Rashtriya Chemicals in last four

Kayalpatnam: Rashtriya Chemicals (Mumbai) entered the semifinals of the 43rd annual Maulana Abulkalam Azad Memorial Trophy all-India football tournament, defeating the defending champion Sports Authority of India (Chennai) 1-0 here on Monday.

The match was a dull affair and the only goal of the match came through a penalty kick conversion by Jagjeet Singh in the 73rd minute. The penalty was awarded when SAI defender Ravichandran handled the ball inside the penalty area. — Sports Correspondent
