Herons to meet KIOC in final

BANGALORE: Herons CC and Karnataka Institute of Cricket (KIOC) will meet in the final of the Sir M. Visveswaraiah Memorial Twenty20 cricket tournament here.

In the semifinals, Heros CC defeated BCC by 98 runs, while KIOC beat St. Joseph’s Indian HS by eight wickets.

The scores: Herons CC 215 for five in 20 overs (Trilok 67, Vinay Kumar 47) bt BCC 117 for eight in 20 overs (Ashwin Kumar 53, Prathap 44); SJIHS 156 for five in 20 overs (Deepak 50, Naveen 47) lost to KIOC 160 for two in 17.1 overs ( David Mathias 76, Chiranjeev 57 n.o.)
