KORAPUT: Journalists are like the catalysts facilitating social justice and economic empowerment in society, Ramesh Prasad Swain, GM, HRD, NALCO, said at Damanjodi while attending as the guest of honour on the occasion of the State executive body meeting of Orissa Union of Journalists (OUJ) at Damanjodi in Koraput district on Sunday.

The union brought out resolutions on various issues affecting the working of journalists in the State and chalked out plans like staging demonstrations in front of the Chief Minister’s residence to pressurise the State government in the near future for providing the basic facilities to journalists in the State.
