‘Boudha Mahotsav’ begins

BHUBANESWAR: On the eve of the Buddha Purnima celebrations on Tuesday, the two-day ‘Boudha Mahotsav’ kicked off at the ancient Buddhist site at Kuruma, about nine kilometers away from Konark. Into its second edition, the event is being hosted by three local cultural organisations, including Konark Natya Mandap to highlight the site and attract tourists.

The inaugural evening showcased classical and folk dances of the State.
