Pirated CDs seized

The flying squad sleuths of the Coimbatore Rural District have seized 464 pirated CDs of latest Tamil films in Karumathampatti and Somanur areas on Monday. Following a tip-off about circulation of pirated CDs, the Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore Rural District, G. Karthikeyan and flying squad SI, Venkatachalam conducted surprise checks in the district.

The police have arrested Singarvelan (32), Subramanian (30) and Murugiah (37).
