BIDAR: The former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy on Monday appealed to the voters of Basavakalyan to vote the Janata Dal (Secular) to power in the State. He was in Basavakalyan campaigning for Mallikarjun Khuba, the Janata Dal (Secular) nominee for the Basavakalyan seat. Addressing a public meeting, Mr. Kumaraswamy said that it was at Basavakalyan that he had announced that his Government would waive farm loans, and he had kept his word. He promised to give priority to developmental activities in Basavakalyan if his party was voted to power.
