Belgaum: The BJP leader Sushma Swaraj has called upon the people of the State to “press a button” to punish the Congress for allegedly bringing terrorism to Karnataka. Addressing an election meeting in Kittur on Monday, she said the BJP was all set to open a new chapter in the electoral history of south India by winning a majority to form a government on its own in Karnataka. The party had indications that it had won popular support in the first and second phases of polling. It expected good support in the third phase of polling to be held on May 22, she said. She held the Congress responsible for inflation and skyrocketing prices of essential commodities, which was making the lives of the poor miserable.
