Murder case solved

NEW DELHI: A 26-year-old man has been arrested on charges of killing his cousin in Badarpur here recently.

The police on May 15 received information about a foul smell emanating from a house in Badarpur. Upon breaking open the door, they found the decomposed body of a young man named Harnath. Enquiries by the police revealed Harnath’s cousin Rajeev, who lived in the neighbourhood, had gone missing after the incident came to light.

Police launched a hunt for Rajeev and arrested him in Kannauj on Sunday. During interrogation, he confessed to the murder.
