Alleged honour killing

NEW DELHI: In an alleged case of honour killing, a young man has been arrested by the Delhi police on charges of killing his sister-in-law and her lover as they wanted to get married despite belonging to the same “gotra”.

The two bodies stuffed in gunny bags were found dumped near a drain in Najafgarh here on May 13. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-West Delhi) Shalini Singh, both the bodies were decomposed.

The deceased were finally identified as Rajkumar (22) and Geeta (20), both residents of Baghpat in UP.
