THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Union government is yet to get a report containing the territorial jurisdiction and recurring expenditure of the proposed High Court Bench in Thiruvananthapuram, the former Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader O. Rajagopal has said. The State cabinet is yet to take a decision in this regard, he said. Mr. Rajagopal was talking to the members of the Thiruvananthapuram Bar Association who are on an indefinite satyagraha in front of the Vanchiyoor court complex, in the city on Monday. It was the political will of the State governments of Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh that led to the constitution of High Court Benches there, he said. Varkala Radhakrishnan, MP, called upon Union Defence Minister A.K. Antony to intervene on behalf of the State government in setting up the Bench. The satyagraha, which completed 95 days on Monday, was lead by BJP leader B.K. Sekhar and advocate-clerk V. Dileep Kumar.
