Awareness campaign

BANGALORE: The Student Islamic Organisation of India, Karnataka, will conduct a month-long educational awareness campaign on “Education – Our right, our responsibility” throughout the State from May 20. The objectives of the campaign include creating awareness among people about the right to have free and quality education, and to promote debate about the role of government in providing free quality education. According to a press release by SIO, the campaign comprises a symposium, corner meeting, survey, parents-teachers meet, toppers and excellence award and street play. — Staff Reporter
