Three teams to probe hooch tragedy

Bangalore: The police have formed three special teams to investigate the hooch tragedy that has claimed 29 lives in the city. It is said that the teams would be headed by Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Gopal B. Hosur, Additional Police Commissioner (City Armed Reserve) S.N. Megharik and Deputy Commissioner (Crime) N.D. Mulla. The police searched the vending outlet from the victims purchased the toxic hooch. They are on the lookout for the shop owner, who is said to be absconding. — PTI
