Varanasi: A criminal wanted in over a dozen cases of murder, loot and kidnapping was killed in an encounter by police here on Tuesday. On an information, police launched a checking drive near FCI godown under Manduadih police station on Tuesday morning, SSP Vijay Prakash said adding as they tried to stop a motorcycle without number plate, the riders tried to escape. When challenged they started firing and police retaliated killing Sushil Kumar alias Babloo, a wanted criminal carrying a reward of Rs.10,000, Mr. Prakash said.
